Over the last few months (or last two years lol), we have been working non-stop. We are so excited to celebrate year two, but year two is also the most critical when it comes to owning a small business. It is your time to really define who you are and where you're headed. We've had our ups and downs, celebrated and second guessed but the one thing that remains constant is our passion for beautiful spaces and the people we have met along the way.
But even our passions can leave us feeling drained and uninspired. Sometimes you have to get away from it all in order to gain new perspective. So we packed our bags, grabbed our gals, and headed Up North for a long weekend away. We just wanted to share some of the highlights and inspiration from our trip!
We spent a significant amount of time in downtown Charlevoix. It's such a dreamy story book town.
Bloom - What is better than fresh floral and beautiful gifts? Bloom is a beautiful collection of thoughtfully curated gifts and decor with a full floral studio. Every corner of their shop inspires! When you step into Bloom you leave Northern Michigan and for a moment feel you could be exploring a downtown area in the French country side. Think Beauty in the Beast....
Grey Gables Inn Restaurant - A Victorian inn with yummy food!
Field Guide Farmhouse - This is where we actually stayed. It is about 25 minutes outside of Charlevoix. This place is AMAZING and Lee the owner is the most genuine, thoughtful, accommodating hostess! We were so at home and felt so at ease while staying here. It was the best place to recharge, feel inspired and get some work done! You owe yourself a trip here!
Thanks to our gal Meredith from Tiny Bits for helping us chase our dreams, taking amazing pictures and providing endless amounts of laughs!
