Boxberry Cards & a cup o' love
February 4, 2015
Well hello February. In honor of our friend Cupid, the Lavish Lemon Link Up will feature the things we love all month long! Stop by every Wednesday for home design, recipes, tips, and more!
To kick off our month of love, I'm sharing a super easy and inexpensive DIY Valentine gift paired with the sweetest little card by BoxBerry that I’m completely smitten with.
First let's start with our Cup O' Love DIY Valentine. This gift is perfect for your tea loving besties.
Here's what you need:
Vintage tea cup- I found mine at Goodwill for $1
Some yummy tea- 4 packages
Honey sticks- I found these at my local market 2 for $1
Cellophane wrap- You can buy a roll at Dollar Tree
All you need to do is drop your tea packages in your tea cup, wrap with cellophane, tie with twine, use your pink ribbon to secure your honey sticks then tie in a bow. Trim the cellophane and also trim your ribbon for a nice clean look. This gift costs less than $4 to make and more than likely you have some of the items you need laying around your home. This Cup O' Love will show your friends you care!
If you haven’t purchased Valentine cards, you must stop by BoxBerry cards on Etsy and order these adorable greetings right away! BoxBerry's owner Erin, creates these beautiful cards with whitty sayings.
Erin whips up more than just Valentine cards. The cards are simple and perfect for every occasion. I chose the little honey bear card to pair with my Cup O' Love, but that didn't stop me from purchasing all my favorites!
